Film – MUBI
Let me tell you a little secret that might just change your whole damn life. MUBI is an online film subscription service that is FREE FOR STUDENTS. Go on. Go fill your boots. (This week I’ve been watching Pillow Talkfrom their current collection because I’m a sucker for an old-school romantic comedy).

TV– The Stranger
Based on Harlan Cobehn’s crime-thriller novel, Netflix’s newest hyper-bingeable drama The Strangeris definitely worth the watch. But clear your timetable, this star-studded cast of characters, led by Richard Armitage, have stories and secrets that are a little too easy to get entangled in.
Literature – The Body Artistby Don DeLillo
Being an English student, I’m a bit of a slut for a well-constructed sentence, which is why I’m recommending this short novel by Don DeLillo. His attention to the aural quality of his writing left me wanting to read the book aloud, and the story itself is absolutely heart wrenching in its realism. Go read thus book or, if you can, get someone to read it to you.

Music – Oh Wonder
This week I’m listening to Oh Wonder’s new album, No One Else Can Wear Your Crown. I’ve been a fan of this duo’s chilled electro-pop for a while and it’s brilliant to have something new to dive into My favourite track so far is ‘In and Out of Love’, the stripped back production and gauzy, soft vocals give their artful lyrics centre stage.
