The poem, blind thoughts, focuses on the suffocating feeling of aphantasia when you close your eyes.
tentacled ivy, drunk on heady blood,
a groping fallen lattice –
a pair of mossless stones, ensnared, squirming
desperately turning,
spun so that forward becomes unknown –
a seer’s neck unravels –
haloed palms, lingering sandy fingers,
muted discs petering into sunken depths –
winds crash, spilling willow leaves into the fleeing blue.
Colour infinite in half: something, nothing,
maybe –
pupils ravaging
hazes of some incalculable.
Lotus searching the clouds for the water’s
reflection
