German Society hosts Alastair Buchan, head of Brexit Strategy of the University of Oxford and Pro-Vice Chancellor, to discuss the implications of Brexit on students.

Informative: She Deserves Chocolate- Pulling on the Threads of Liberation, 7:00 pm, Lady Margaret Hall
The Oxford Fair Trade Coalition hosts a panel to discuss the chocolate market- from the cocoa beans to the store shelves. The ethics of the market will be discussed by Fairtrade ambassadors and TV chefs Melissa Helmsley and Allegra McEvedy, Ethical Trade Manager at Oxfam Rachel Wilshaw and others. Register here.

Informative: Lucid Dreaming, 5:30 pm, Rainolds Corpus Christi College
Learn more about the strange phenomenon of lucid dreaming, where one can control certain parts of a dream. Dr Josie Malinowski of the University of East London will also discuss her research on sleep and dreaming. Free for members of Oxford University Psychology Society, £2 at the door for non-members.

Oxford University Japan Society and the Brasenose Film Society present Dreams by Akira Kurosawa, inspired by the director’s actual dreams to make for a surreal experience. Free for OUJS members, £2 for non-members at the door.

Informative: Exiled: The Plight of Rohingya Muslims Screening and Discussion, 5:00 pm, Refugee Studies Centre
A screening of a documentary about the military dictatorship, propaganda, and violence against Rohingya Muslims will be followed by a discussion with Shahida Tulaganova, a former news and current affairs reporter for the BBC.
