Each week, Oxford University hosts a plethora of academic talks and fascinating events which are rarely advertised to undergraduates. While we’re more than welcome to go along, most of us simply haven’t heard what’s on offer beyond our degrees, sports, ATIK nights and coffee dates.
That’s why our team at The Oxford Blue’s News section has decided to produce a weekly rundown of events.
Each Sunday, we’ll be highlighting a handful of the stand-out talks and lectures happening the following week. And, each week, we’ll write a concise summary of a talk that we have attended and particularly enjoyed.
We hope this will help to bridge gaps between the University’s super-curricular timetable and its students.
